Track 12: Diabetes in Children
Diabetes in children has become a big issue in recent years. The most common type of polygenic disorder in children and teenagers was type one. Autoimmune disorders are another name for it. If a child is overweight or obese, he or she is more likely to develop one of two polygenic disorders. To reduce the risk of type two polygenic disorder in children, they should keep a healthy weight, be physically active, consume smaller portions of healthful foods, and limit their time in front of the television, computer, and video games.
